The terminal IBM 7526/200 for data capture in industrial environments, has a membrane type keyboard sealed against liquid and dust, keypad, programmable 28-key keyboard, communication ports for readers and port printer. The terminal communicates with the server over TCP / IP, and operates autonomously while there is no communication.

Definition of activities of the terminal

Through the setup step by step we define the activities to be assigned to each key. Through simple and intuitive menus will program the terminal to receive reading by any of its 4 ports, will define the length of this reading, show certain messages in the display, to validate the data entered against different files, etc.., And this set of actions run in sequence when you press the determined key.

The data capture terminal IBM 7526/200 has 8 digital inputs and outputs. From the control software, we can configured it as 8 inputs, 8 outputs, or 4 inputs and 4 outputs. Each of these signals will use them in building activities, to performactions such as counting out pieces of machinery, vehicle detection, device activation, and so on. We can also receive data through its serial port, such as reading scales, and print using the printer port. Many times these terminals replace a computer because they perform the necessary functions and has no operating system problems, upgrades, etc, besides having a considerably longer service life.

Data integration

Each of the obtained data can be included up to 10 different databases, by means of a configurable automatic process control software. The integration paths are defined from the program and can be changed at any time to adapt to changing business needs.
